Luxe & Beau started in 2015, when I was pregnant with my eldest.
And honestly? It started because I just wanted a beautiful designer cushion.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Luxe & Beau started in 2015, when I was pregnant with my eldest. And honestly? It started because I just wanted a beautiful cushion.
But when I went looking for the kind of cushion I had in my head, the one made with beautiful fabrics and finished with a beautiful fringe and a velvet that finished off the look, I quickly realised getting it meant sourcing the fabric myself, finding someone to make it up, waiting weeks, and spending a small fortune.
And if you know me at all, you'll know that's not how I operate. When I decide I want something for my home, I want it now. My mum is exactly the same.
We don't browse. We decide, and then we need it yesterday.
THE GAP WE SET OUT TO FILL
So that's what Luxe & Beau set out to fix. What if you could have a genuine designer cushion, the kind you'd normally only find through an interior designer or a beautiful boutique, but right now, off the rack, no process, no waiting? Here in Australia. Because before we came along, that simply didn't exist. A cushion with a beautiful fringe or braid trim. A complementing velvet and bullion fringe. We pipe our cushions in co-ordinating velvet so they pair beautifully, mix and match effortlessly, with a tie that brings them all together. A beautiful braid. A floral, a leopard and a stripe, all designed to complement each other without ever feeling contrived.

That's what we set out to do. We wanted to give our customers a considered collection that would transform a space and inspire the way they decorate. Add in some beautiful lamp shades and you have something completely unique, a personalised look and feel with real personality and soul. Like a well-decorated room that feels collected and built over time, that's exactly what we wanted our cushions to do.
10 YEARS ON...
The quality of what we make is something I'm so proud of. It hasn't happened overnight. We work with manufacturers who are extraordinarily talented, and every single pattern starts with us, with our design.
It's been a journey, and honestly? I feel like we're only getting started.
