Meet Georgie: The Colour, Pattern and Story Behind Luxe & Beau
I'm Georgie, founder of Luxe & Beau and a fifth generation retailer, with a lifelong love of creating beautiful spaces full of character. From the Australian country home where I grew up, surrounded by florals, stripes, leopard print and flowers from the garden, to the family run brand I've built today, colour and pattern have always been at the heart of everything I do.
As a girl, I loved drawing patterns and hosting bedroom tea parties, setting the table with my great grandmother's china. Choosing colours, arranging beautiful details and creating something special has always been my favourite pastime.
After studying graphic design in Canberra and fashion styling at the London College of Fashion, I founded Luxe & Beau in 2015 while pregnant with my eldest son.
Today, our family run business creates cushions, table linen, lamps and sleepwear, reinterpreting traditional patterns with fresh, joyful colour.
