Open Positions
A rare kind of opportunity
Luxe & Beau began in 2015 with a simple idea, that the things you live with should be worth living with.
Every pattern we sell is drawn in house. Every piece earns its place before it reaches someone's home. Ten years on, our cushions, table linen, lighting and sleepwear are in homes and stockists right across Australia, and every one of them was designed, chosen and sent out by a small team in Fyshwick.
That is the part worth understanding before you apply. There are not many Australian brands at this size where one person's work is this visible. What you do here shows up in the product, in the parcel someone opens, and in what a customer says about us afterwards. Roles like this do not come up often, and when they do, we take our time filling them.
What we care about
Our team. We are small enough to know each other properly. We would rather find the right person and shape the role around them than fill a seat.
Our standards. Nothing leaves here that we would not want in our own homes. That applies to a lamp, and it applies to how a parcel is wrapped. It is why our customers rate us 4.85 out of 5, and we are protective of it.
Doing the work properly. No shortcuts and no near enough. If you can see a better way, we want to hear it, and you will not have to go through three people to be listened to.
What you can expect from us
Real breadth. You will see how a whole business works rather than one narrow corner of it, and you will own your part of it properly.
Beautiful things. Your days will be spent around fabric, colour and pattern, and you will see every new collection before anyone else does.
A 30% staff discount across everything we make.
One honest note. Because we are small, everyone here does a bit of everything, and that includes packing orders. If that sounds beneath you, this is not the place for you. If it sounds like a good day's work, we would love to hear from you.
Open positions
Operations Coordinator
Full time, five days · Our head office, Fyshwick ACT
This is the right hand to our founder and the most important role in the business. You will be our eyes and ears, across everything from the packing bench to the customer inbox, and you will be the person who notices things before they become problems.
You will pack and dispatch orders daily, receive and reconcile incoming shipments, run stocktakes, keep inventory accurate in Shopify, track freight and chase documentation, oversee the customer inbox, and roster our casual staff including bringing in extra help through our busy season.
We are looking for someone who has run operations in a small business, retail or warehouse setting, who is genuinely happy to do the physical work as well as the thinking, and who stays calm when things get busy. Salary reviewed formally at six months.
Customer Service and Trade Accounts Coordinator
Part time · Our head office, Fyshwick ACT
This role has two halves. You are the voice our retail customers hear from, and you are the person who builds our trade business.
Our trade customers are interior designers, stylists, event businesses and stockists across Australia. They need someone who will pick up the phone every week, know their names and keep them ordering. Alongside that you will answer customer enquiries by email and phone, handle faults and returns, help pack orders, and keep the website current.
We are looking for someone confident on the phone and genuinely comfortable selling rather than just servicing, with warm and natural written communication. We hold a 4.85 out of 5 review score and we want to keep it there.
Warehouse Assistant
Permanent part time · Our head office, Fyshwick ACT
Our customers are buying beautiful things for their homes, and the parcel they open is part of that. How our orders are packed matters as much to us as what is inside them.
You will pick, pack and dispatch orders to a premium standard, prepare parcels for Australia Post, receive and check incoming stock, help with stocktakes and keep the warehouse organised. Additional hours are available from October to December and around our sale periods.
We are looking for someone careful, reliable and happy in a physical role, who takes pride in doing things properly.
