Thrilled to bits with my lamp. The base and shade are exactly what I wanted, and the globe charged quickly. The glow from the lamp gives off a lovely warm glow. Best of all, I did not have to get an electrician in to install a power point, so now the lamp brightens up this dark corner of the room. Sort of disappointed that there are no more dark areas!
